My name is
Renato Miceli Costa Ribeiro
and I am 22 years old. I am a Computational Scientist at
Ireland's supercomputing centre
and a PhD student at
Université de Rennes 1
, France. I got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (hons) at
Universidade Federal de Campina Grande
, Brazil. There I got involved in research and development activities at the
Distributed Systems Laboratory
, focusing on the
OurGrid Project
. My research interests have further involved from distributed systems into parallel systems, GPU computing and compiler optimisation, deeply influenced by my role at the
Irish Centre for High-End Computing
, where I support the Irish research community and provide consultancy services and technology transfer for the industry in High-Performance Computing and General-Purpose GPU Computing. I am a "Certified Tester, Foundation Level" by the
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)
, a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner by
